| Design Tips |
| To effectively design a sign, please consider the following parameters:
| SIZE: |
| Does the sign need to fit a specific area? Measure the area prior to design. Are there any regulations you need to follow? For example: city codes, association/property regulations.
| USAGE: |
| Indoor or Outdoor? Temporary or Permanent?
| VISABILITY: |
| How far does this sign need to be read? For example: as far as possible, across the street, inside a large convention center or in your reception area.
| WORDING: |
| What are the most important information you want to convey? Please note that a well designed sign does not read like a brochure.
| MATERIALS: |
| Acrylic, PVC plastic, Corugated plastic, metal, vinyl banner, paper, wood, foamcore, etc.
| INSTALLATION: |
| Do you need holes drilled, grommets, pole pockets, posts, stakes, Velcro (hook & loop), double-sided tape? Approximately how high?
| GRAPHICS: |
| Will there be logos, cliparts, photos, or any special effects such as shadow, outline, border, etc.
